PRCA Roughstock Only Night at the Missoula Stampede

Wednesday night is Bulls, Broncs & Busters, one of the most exciting performances of the Missoula Stampede presented by Epic Steel. The arena belongs to rodeo's toughest athletes as Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Bull Riding take center stage in a performance built for fans who love the heart-pounding excitement of roughstock competition.

The evening also features Professional Barrel Racing, Jr. Barrel Racing, and Women's Breakaway Roping, bringing together the speed, skill, and athleticism that make PRCA rodeo one of America's greatest traditions.

Opening Night of Mutton Bustin'!

Wednesday also marks the season debut of Mutton Bustin', where some of the Fair's youngest cowboys and cowgirls climb aboard sheep for the ride of a lifetime. It's one of the most anticipated moments of the week and guaranteed to bring smiles throughout the grandstands.

Golden Circle of Champions Night

Wednesday is also Golden Circle of Champions Night, a heartfelt celebration honoring local children who are courageously fighting cancer.

These remarkable young champions and their families will be special guests of the Missoula Stampede, reminding us all that the greatest courage isn't always found in the arena. Join us in wearing gold tonight as we recognize their strength, resilience, and inspiring spirit.

Meet Montana's Sam Peterson Before the Rodeo

Arrive early for an exclusive meet-and-greet with Sam Peterson, a PRCA bareback rider from Helmville, Montana, who finished No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings in 2025.

Sam will be available before the performance to meet fans, sign autographs, and take photos. While he won't be competing Wednesday night, this is a rare opportunity to visit with one of Montana's top rodeo athletes and celebrate his remarkable accomplishments.

Bring your grandstand ticket to the Fair Office (Building 12) between Noon and 5:00 PM on Wednesday to receive your Fast Pass. Then head straight to the dedicated entrance and spend less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the Western Montana Fair.
