Admission is completely FREE! They do ask families to register ahead of time so they can plan for enough candy and activities for everyone.
Want to decorate a trunk? They are looking for local families, businesses, organizations, and community groups to join the fun! Pick a theme, decorate your vehicle, dress up, and help them create an awesome afternoon for Missoula kids. Can't host a trunk but still want to help? They are accepting individually wrapped candy donations leading up to the event.

Renaissance Fair
Step back in time for the 2026 Missoula Renaissance Festival! Returning for its second year, the festival brings a weekend of medieval adventure, entertainment, food, shopping, and family-friendly fun to the Missoula County Fairgrounds.
Festivalgoers can explore a medieval-style marketplace filled with vendors and artisans while enjoying live entertainment, demonstrations, games, music, dancing, armored combat, food, and interactive activities throughout the weekend. Costumes and Renaissance-inspired attire are encouraged, but not required.

The Western Montana Fair is bringing you two unforgettable weekends of excitement: Machine vs. Muscle! Kicking things off with Machine, packed with Lords of Dirt, an incredible car show, and all things mechanical. The University of Montana Rodeo is the last stop on the Big Sky Regional Circuit. Your University of Montana Grizzly Rodeo Team will compete against nine other schools across the Big Sky Region. All Big Sky schools will compete for a chance to make it to the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming.
